This week for this activity we had to find facts about Venus Williams & Serena William by watching two videos. This activity was about research. Here is two facts about them both: Venus Williams is the fifth highest paid women and Serena Williams made 84M dollars for every game she played.

This week for this activity we had to found someone to ask them what their DREAM career or job. This activity was a activity around cooperating and sharing ideas. I really hope you like my poster. I really enjoyed doing this poster. My partner was Jaylee.

This week for our task we had to list 5 questions about  LeBron James or Steve Adams. These are my questions that I listed for LeBron James. There was an article telling us about LeBron James and Steve Adams.

This week for Summer Learning Journey we did a task named Describing Poem. For this task we had to write a short describing poem about experiencing the moon. I had rhymes on my poem that shows the reader how I experienced the moon.

Today we had to complete an activity by listing 10 different food products that we would bring to survive on a sailboat. My DLO is shown below my blurb. We had to choose food products that were non-perishable. The foods had to be light so the sailboat won't sink.

Today we had to do a activity named pepeha. This activity was created by The Summer Learning Journey. The pepeha was used to introduced someone or something by where they are from and where they have lived also their name.

L.I - To plan and write a narrative


This week for Writing we had to plan and write a narrative by using a app called The Literacy Shed. What the app does is shows settings for example, a haunted house & stormy waves. We had to write our story in TOPES ( Title, Orientation, Problem, Events & Solution).

Kiwi Can

L.I - To recap of the things we learnt

This week for Kiwi Can we had our last session of kiwi can so we had to recap on what we learnt over the term at kiwi can. The three games we played were Bitty Bop, Colour Coordination, Musical Cones & Hot potato pass. I really enjoyed played these game for 2019

Maths | Fractions

This week for Maths we are learning about fractions. Fractions are a whole object divided into equal pieces, make sure the creases you make a light if you are estimating. If you are actually doing it make sure you have a hard crease. Here are some examples halves, quarters, thirds & fifths. Halves are 1 ፥ 2 = ½ , Quarters are 1 ፥ 4 = ¼  , Thirds are 1 ፥ 3 = ⅓ lastly are fifths are 1 ፥ 5 = ⅕ 

Reading

 L.I - To finish off the follow up tasks


This week for reading we had to finish up of follow up tasks. I did the the Setting Description, the setting description is using the five types of versions which are sight,taste,hearing,feeling & smelt. I had  to describe the thing I saw and felt.

Kiwi Sport

L.I: To learn to play in singles


This week for Kiwi Sport we played in singles and had one v one. If you bounced the ball outside the boundaries you would be out. We had to work in groups. If the ball bounces two times then the other person would be the champion.

Maori | W7

L.I - To translate maori into english


This week for Maori we did a activity named maori time. For this activity we used clock face generator to make the time to screenshot it. We had to put the screenshot in the rights spaces because the words were in maori. The DLO is shown on the Google Docs. Here is a link to the clock face generator 

Kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi Can we were learning about respecting others and their disabilities. Our topic is Respect.


For our energizer we played a game called Mirror Mirror, how to play this game game you have to face someone. One of the lines will have to do some actions and the other line will have to copy.



For activity we played hoops we had to get in a group of 4 in my group was franzana jaylee bella H i had to stand in the front and my group has to past the ball to me and the person at the back has to hoop the ball in and the person who had more points was the winning group.


After we played our activity we went back to the kiwi can room we had to set in a circle to play GKQ
and the last person was me i was the winner for our kiwi can GKQ.

This week for Maori we are learning about translating the days into english. We had task named the days in maori. The activities are shown above on the Google Docs. For activity we had to sort the traditional ones to the right section and also with the assimilation names too.
