Music

For music we learnt to play instruments.We had to take turns of the instruments.We all had 10 mins on the keyboards.We all played at the same time so it could sound better.
 The ukulele was hard but everyone gave it a try. We played the chords.The keyboard was for the free time and we also had to use headphones so in doesn't interrupt the other groups.





Kiwi Sport

L.I To practice the whole game of Ki o Rahi

This week for kiwi sport was all about practicing the full game of Ki o Rahi I was in the red team of
                    ki o rahi and I was the taniwha team. The team with the blue tag was ki oma.

 The full game of Ki o Rahi was fun we had to touch as many poes as we could before getting tries. The kaitaki had to run throw the ice bridge and the kaitaki are not aloud to touch the tupu. The teams and not aloud to run throw the ice bridge.When we have three turns we changed over.

We were learning about a solider or something else 
My solider was John Henry Allen he was born in December the 23th 1895
He was one of those who didn't come home to his family,People from all of New Zealand had to sent a son to the war. Lots of people got very bad news and some of their sons didn't return.
   


Little Red Riding Hood



L.I  We were learning how to make Little red riding hood into a recount.

We had to imagine that you are Little red riding hood or the wolf we also had to make up our own details from the story.
We also decided some title ideas for our story.

Kiwi Can


LI: To build positive relationship.

Today in kiwi can we were learning about Friendship. We learnt that there are times
we can say no!
We talked about situations were it is okay to say no.
We discussed different ways to say no that don't cause disrespect.
We did an activity called empathy rote play.
A group acted out a  situation and as a class we needed to decide
the way to say no!

We had to do the four walls of Haouroa they were social,spiritual,physical,metal/emotions.We also learnt the Maori names Taha Tinana,Taha Hinengaro,Taha Whanau,Taha Wairua
