L.I  - To learn how to serve the ball

This week for Kiwi Sport we had to practise how to serve to ball to our partner. We also learnt how to throw the ball diagonally, throwing the ball up and hitting it with the racket. The thing that was the most important was throwing to ball gently to our partner. All of the positions helped us work our forehand also our backhand as we only have three more weeks.

Manaiakalani Film Festival

Today Panmure Bridge School went to Hoyts to watch movies from other Manaiakalani Schools. The schools we watched was: Saint Patrick Schools & Tamaki Lastly Panmure Bridge School. I thought that Saint Patrick's movies were funny and enjoying. We thank of staff for coming down and looking after students and we also thank the organising people for putting the effort into this day.

2019 Manaiakalani Film Festival

I watched  "Te Puna Walrua" from "Tamaki Primary School". It was amazing because of the way they did a video of a Maori Culture Theme.

Origami Plane

LI: to use statistical and scientific methods to study the effect of wingspan and area
on lift.

For term 4 we are studying aerodynamics. We learnt what variables are as well as
independent and dependent variables.

Our task this week was to create 12 paper/origami planes focusing on one certain design
and studying each aspect of the design and which part of the paper planes are important
and how they affect launch and flight.

A variable is a feature of an object or thing that can change between multiple types of
the object/item. An independent variable is unchanged by other variables or will not be
changed by other aspects or assets of a variable. A dependent variable is depends on
another factor in order to be changed.

Cybersmart

L.I - To learn about legal images

Kiwi Sport

L.I - To learn the basic grip of a tennis racket

This week for Kiwisport we are learning to use our forehand and backhand. We had to hit the ball softly to our partner and count how many hits we could get. Our backhand is our dominate that we write with. The forehand is the hand that position is the top of the other hand.
