Ki o Rahi






L.I To learn how to play the taniwha role.

Today for Ki o Rahi we played three challenges.

The first challenge was everyone had to throw the Ki @ the Tupu to get a score in 1 min.Our score was 19.

The next challenge was the time to get the whole team hitting the tupu and sit in Te Ao our time was 1 min and 58 sec.

Our last challenge was to hit the tupu with kaitaki Guarding,score was 2.

Rule:

Stay in Te Rota.
Stay in the pawero.

Inforgrahic




                  L.I For Inquiry my group learnt how to make a Inforgrahic about reading.

The 1st Question was why do we read,we said we read so we can understand things you can help other people with reading.

The other one we learnt about was what helps us read,what we said for this on was,things that           can help you read can be if you chunk the word into smaller words to your understanding.

Information about the number 50


L.I For our math we did a poster of the number 50.We made equations,we also had to find out facts about the number as well.For example 100 - 50 = 50.

tasman fires



L.I For our reading we had to write about the tasman fires and create a google map about the places that have got fres in them and did got fires. Then we had to finish our slide about the tasman fires.


Safe things to do




L.I  For inqury LS1 were learning about safe things to do.


What we learnt first was Personal strengths.The meaning of personal strengths is when you you are good that something or you not go at.

 Emotions are when you are sad,embarrassed,angry,confused.Safe thing to do when you are angry is don't hit people or yell at them. 


different types a touch are something you like when people do to you or something you don't like people doing to you and  something that makes you confused for example: when your mum slaps you on your head that confusing.

L.T Today at Kiwi can we learnt how to do active listening.





Remote control

We played a Energizer called remote control,Mr Alapati told us some thing on the remote the words are fast fast-forward,rewind,pause and sometime he tricked us and said jump it got harder and harder.






Chop Suey


We also played a game called Chop Suey salute,how to play this game we had to put our hand together.When Mr Alapati said 1 we had to punch once and then do the same all the way up to 5.

Te Ara and Rahi

L.I To learn the the origin and basics of ki o Rahi.





This week for kiwi sport we played 3 different games one of the game we play today was 8 passes For this game we had to spread out and pass the ball to each other.We had two groups on of them were called taniwha's the other was called Kiama .

The second  game we played was was bandy and rabbit we had to stand in two groups we the coach said kiama  then we had to  ran to the other side as fast as you can then you had to ran back to the middle and when she say taniwha's then the other group had to fun to the other side. 

After we played 8 passes we played Taniwha and Kioma then we had to get into 2 group and the other group had to go to the other side and the other group had to go on the other side we played this game when she say and number of people and they have to ran up and she say and sport that we had to play was:netball,basketball,touch.
