Basic Fact Boxes
L.I - To learn my basic fact boxes
Today I did the speed demon up to 5, these basic facts are really easy so next time I gonna go up to 10 then 20. Next time I want to get faster because it took me 2 mins and 17 seconds

Kiwi Can
L.I - To learn how to positively communicate with others
This week for kiwi can we were learning about positive communication with other. Positive communication is speaky nicely or positively to friends or others.
Our energizer was flip that cone, how to play this game is you can pick 1 or more people to try and flip the cone either upside down or the right way up. The first one to have to most cones the right way up wins. If the upside down team has the most they won.
Our activity was street fighter, how to play this game is you have a partner and the caller has to call out so numbers up to 5. If he says 1 you have to punch one time with one hand. Two is both had punching and it goes on.

Rippa Rugby
Yesterday we went across the road to play rippa with the marist people. We got splitted up into year 4,5,6. Our coaches we Andrew and Justice, these people helped and trained us for the rippa rugby sessions. St Patrick's school was also playing rippa rugby.
First we learnt how to pass and catch the ball. This activity was good because I didn't know hot to pass the ball to other people.
The next activity was the game stuck in the mud but this called wasn't the normal game it was trying to rip the other players tags. Once Andrew blow the whistle the other people could run to the other side without getting their tags ripped by the defenders.
After we did our warm ups we played a real game of rippa. The game was red vs green, these team had to run to the trie line without getting ripped.
The scores: 2 - 2 the green to got 2 and the red team got 2 as well.

This week for SSR Selfie I retold a book called The Ultimate book of Randomly Awesome Facts. This book had lots of facts about all different thing such as animals food and other things. I really like this book because everytime we go to the library we have to give the teacher so facts or words in our book.

L.I - To understand what an idiom is
For this activity we had to create a video to show people what an idiom is. Next we had to scroll through the idioms and we found the one we wanted to do, Piece Of Cake. This idiom is actually getting a piece of cake and eating it, this idiom means you have to take a stand and try to do something new. Our DLO's are are show below this blurb.

Reading | Netball | Fact Find
Today we did an activity named fact find. Research is when you search for facts about a chosen topic such as animals and plants.
My group chosen Netball, Netball is within the category Sports. My job was to find the images and add an video.
I found this activity really interesting because it was fun finding the facts and the images. This video is about the idioms.
Writing | Descriptive Writing
The "Descriptive Writing" activity is used for practising using descriptive language.
The comments function is used to describe any of the gathered photo.
There is a list of language features to help create a Description.
The objective of the Descriptive Writing activity is to improve description language abilities.
Maths | Independent Activities

Our groups started our rotation.
The activities we attempted were Basic Fact Boxes, Drills, Abacus and finding a group logo.
We had to make a video of ourselves counting on the abacus
I attempted the up to 5 speed demon just for practise and then I went onto the 10 speed demon on the challenge on Basic Fact boxes.
On the maths activity abacus I found it difficult to record and count at the same time.

For the print designs rules e had to complete a activity. We had to write a good statement and a bad statement.

Use Images that relate to the text
Have a Balance of pictures and sentences
Layout:
Have Margins and align text and images
Use most of the space
Colour
Don’t use clashing colours use a harmonic colour scheme
Use contrasting backgrounds and Foreground colors
