L.I - To develop body movements of balance,rotation and strength
We first started off by playing Tag to warm up. We then did some stretches. We did L - shape,Seal,Butterfly and Straddle.
Rotation 1:
There was a bean to walk forwards on then stretch your legs to the front and back. We also had to cart wheel across the blue foam beam. Lastly there was another beam we had to do a forward roll on. We then had to do a 360 jump. We then had to do bunny hops side to side on a beam.
Rotation 2:
There was a trampoline to jump on and do a dive roll. We then had to do a backwards roll. After we had to do a full handstand and a cart wheel. Lastly jump of board and do a 180 spin in the air and land in our landing shape.
Rotation 3:
We had to do a handstand on the wall on the bars. We then went on barson the bars held ourselves on it. Next there were the parallel bars and we had to hold ourselves touching the bottoms then swinging. There was a beam and we had to do a Front,Back and Side support rotation. Lastly there was bars we had to push ourselves up up.
I am a Year 6 student at Panmure Bridge School, Auckland, New Zealand. My teachers are Mr Wong and Mr Ogilvie.

We were organizing our Google Drives to save our work. We did this because during the year we could put more stuff in our Drives and so we don't wasn't time when we are doing our work.
Decimals Numbers | Maths
L.I - To add and subtract decimals by place value and check using the written algorithm
Decimals are number higher than zero but lower than solid number. In our maths groups we were adding and subtracting decimals number. To add and subtract number you need to add the lowest numbers first.

What we learnt?
Kiwi can today was about how to trust other people.
Our activity was trust fall how this game works is one partner will need to fell back onto the other partners palm of their hand,the aim of this game is to trust your partner when you fall back.
Our energizer was 123 jump how to play this game the teacher will have to call out jump or other words that rhyme with jump,whoever jumps when the teacher says lump they would be out.

African drumming
L.I - To learn African drumming
Johnny from Rhythm Interaction taught us four rhythms on the djembes.
Johnny taught us by singing and clapping the rhythms for us to copy. One of the call and return tunes was "I like chocolate cake", "so do I".
Johnny teaches a message to children. That message is that "together we can make a change".
What I learnt? - What I learnt was to do African drumming.
What I enjoyed? - I enjoyed playing on the drums and clapping to the beats.

Hiwi the Kiwi fishing for the future
L.I. To be responsible in the sea and when fishing.
What we learnt? Today Hiwi the Kiwi came to talk to us. We learnt about fishing for the future. We also learnt about life jackets and how they keep us safe while been on a boat. When you are in the ocean without a life jacket something will be able to go wrong.
We also learnt about some fishes sizes like a Snapper has to be 30 centimeters long. If you catch a small fish it should be letting go because it is too young. If you catch a big fish it is a mum or a dad so you will have to let those go too because they are breeding babies. Our sea animals are dying because of the amount of plastic that is been throwing around,when they see that rubbish they think it is food to eat.

Today we begun to learn about Matariki by reading a book called Stories of the night sky. Matariki is the Maori new year. The stars disappeared at the beginning of April and reappear in June. This marks the time to start planting so that the harvest is reading for spring.
