SLJ | Poem | Task 2 | Day 2

This week for Summer Learning Journey we did a task named Describing Poem. For this task we had to write a short describing poem about experiencing the moon. I had rhymes on my poem that shows the reader how I experienced the moon.

  1. Hi Shinaya, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the poem you created about walking on the moon - would you REALLY like to walk on the moon? I'm not too sure I'd like the journey there... Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!

  2. Kia Ora Shinaye,

I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.

You have written an awesome poem about walking on the moon. I’m sure after such a long trip up in the rocket you would want a snooze once you landed on the moon. I think i would be too excited to be on the moon , I would run around and explore as much of the moon as I could. If you could take someone to the moon who would you take? I would take my sister because I think she would enjoy exploring the moon with me.

I just wanted to let you know that this is the last day that all of the blog commenters are working for 2019! We are all taking some time to hang out with whanau and to celebrate the holidays. But everyone will be back on January 6th so keep blogging and we can read them when we get back!

I hope I get to read more of your blog posts soon,

    Dani
