This week we learnt learning about food storage and preservation. Preservation is keeping something in its current state and food storage is storing food so it is organized.
We read 14 articles to find the text type. To find the text type we looked the person and the tense. Some of the articles we read were: Auckland restaurants food storage and Food preservatives.
After reading the articles we went on to the author's purpose. The author's purpose is trying to do and what the text is for.
Then we did the UTE (Usefulness and Trustworthiness Evaluation). UTE is the rating of the usefulness and trustworthiness. The UTE rating is up to five. Rating five is when the text has information I need, its purpose is for informing, its form a reliable source and its current.
